STEPHEN STRUEBING

Having grown up a pastor’s kid, Stephen’s life has been absorbed in ministry of some sort for as long as he can remember. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a philosophy degree, he worked in the juvenile justice system for several years and eventually served an international ministry based in Tel Aviv for five years.

Steve and his wife moved out west to take over their family’s long-standing plumbing business. They live in a small mountain town with their two kids and dog, Chancey, where they serve within a house church. As a family, they care deeply about disciple making, worship, and prayer, and endeavor to pragmatically sow these values into their community. The Struebings stay busy with work and ministry but take advantage of their local landscape whenever they can. Steve enjoys hiking, hunting, golf, and mountain biking. He and a few friends frequently collaborate to write and record music, so be on the lookout for their material to hit the internet. Steve’s one of the most encouraging guys we know—a true “barnabas”—so we’re excited to get his songs and lyrics in our ears.
